Club Rules
General
Strictly members only.
Membership is limited at the discretion of the committee
New members will only be accepted during the club’s closed winter season, running from November through to March.
Applications submitted outside of this period will be held and reviewed at the start of the next intake window.
Membership cost is £15
The committee of the club reserve the right to cancel or deny any membership at any time.
Fishery/Match Rules
Anglers must book on before 8pm on the Friday night before the match (Match will be well advertised in advance).
A deposit of £5 is to be paid in advance for the next match. If an angler fails to attend, they will forfeit their deposit.
All match draws will take place on Saturday evenings and will be conducted live via Facebook or posted on the club website.
Members are responsible for checking the draw before attending the match.
Failure to attend a match or notify the officials before 8pm on the Friday before the match when you are booked on will result in a one match suspension + pegging fee (Fishery).
Club officials may ask members to assist with the match weigh in.
Members must fish the peg they have drawn – failure to do so will result in disqualification.
Members must respect lake etiquette and agree with the angler either side about fishing limits (No more than halfway).
If there is a problem with the rule above on a matchday please seek an official.
Fishery rules apply at all times including keepnet limits (at owners discretion).
Each venue’s keepnet rules must be strictly adhered to. Full details of the keepnet regulations for each venue can be found on the venues page: Here
Under 18’s are permitted to compete providing they are accompanied and paid on by an adult.
Members must hold a valid Rod License to fish matches.
Anglers that fish a match will be given priority for the next fixture.
Scalesmans decision on weight will be final to ensure consistency.
Golden Peg
One golden peg are will be active during every match of the season.
Matchday Conduct
Please respect club officials regarding pegging and other matchday decisions.
Foul and abusive behaviour towards a club member or official at the match could result in expulsion from the match and a 10 point deduction will apply to league standings.
Please respect anglers peg on a matchday and refrain from encroaching on their space unless permission is given.
If an angler leaves without collecting winnings and does not notify the match day officials then the money will be added to club funds.
If leaving a match early, anglers must not throw unused bait into the pond, must return all fish safely and calmly, leave their peg clean and tidy, and avoid disturbing other anglers still fishing.
Social Media
No offensive posts that may cause distress to other club members. Aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated on the WhatsApp group/social media pages and will result in expulsion from the groups/pages.
Committee have the right to revoke a membership if a club member brings themselves or the club into disrepute across any of our social messaging apps.
If the behaviour persists then membership will terminated immediately without refund.
League Details
Members have the opportunity to collect points in every league match.
Points will be awarded within sections
Sections will be a minimum of 3 anglers and a maximum of 5
Section points will be awarded as follows:
1st – 4 points
2nd – 3 points
3rd – 2 points
4th – 1 point
5th-1 point
Knock-ups and Christmas cheer matches will be excluded from the points league.
In the event of a tie on points, places will be decided on weight. If weights are equal places will be decided on the amount of matches fished.
Prizes for the top 3 anglers have been sponsored by Anglers Choice, and a cash prize system will apply to the top 8 anglers who finish in the league frame.
