Match 9 2026 – Redwood Park – The Arc

Round 9 of the summer league saw 19 anglers head to Redwood Park, with the Arc Lake being the venue for the day.

Expectations were fairly low before the draw, with plenty of talk about it potentially being a tough one. However, the lake fished better than many expected and most anglers managed to find a few bites throughout the match. As always, some areas produced better than others, but there were fish to be caught if you could keep them coming and make the most of your chances.

It turned into a very close battle at the top, with just a couple of pounds separating the leading weights! 👀

🥇 1st – Jonny Richards with 75lb 11oz
A solid performance from Jonny saw him take the win, doing enough to hold off the chasing pack in a very tight finish.

🥈 2nd – Rob Wood with 73lb 11oz
Rob continued his good form, finishing just 2lb behind the winner and pushing Jonny all the way.

🥉 3rd – Mike Edwards with 73lb 1oz
Mike rounded out the top three, less than a pound behind second place. A brilliant result and another close weight at the top.

Well done to all the framers and section winners. With the top three separated by less than 3lb, it certainly turned out closer than many expected at the start of the day!
