Fishery Rules

To ensure the welfare of our fish and the enjoyment of all anglers, please follow these rules:

Landing Nets: All landing nets must be dipped before leaving the main car park.

Net Use: Any fish weighing 4oz or more must be landed using a net.

Hooks: Barbless hooks only. Maximum hook size is 12.

Bait & Equipment Restrictions:
No floating baits
No floating poles
No bread
No floating feeders
No bagging wagglers

Pole Length: Maximum pole length is 16 meters.

Rod/Pole Limit: Only one rod or pole may be used at a time.

Rod License: All anglers must hold a valid rod license.

Litter: Please take your litter home or use the bin provided in the main car park.

Catch & Release: This is a catch-and-release fishery. Anyone found removing fish will be reported to the police.

Keepnets for Matches:
Anglers must provide fish-friendly keepnets
All nets must be laid out behind your peg before fishing begins
The match organizer will call “Nets in” 15 minutes before the match starts
Maximum weight per keepnet is 60lb, 60lb to 70lb Knocked back to 60lb, over 70lb lose the net.
Carp and F1s over 2lb must go in one net
Carp and F1s under 2lb (with silvers) should go in a separate net
