Some say it’s better late than never, but for most of the anglers at Brafferton that day it would be better off never.
Another great turn out from the lads and lasses having full F1 lake at Brafferton Lakes. Another quick and smooth carpark draw and most where already at their pegs before Tomo had found the venue!
Having the full lake ment each angler had plenty of room either side and obviously the island across. All in started a long match for most. Ian Gladers started putting some small fish in the net from the off fishing across to the island and few smaller carp coming out on the feeder, again tight across.
With the forecast for heavy rain throughout it didn’t take long for the heavens to open and huge downpour leaving the fish drier than the anglers!!
Eventual winner Sys started putting some fish in the net consistently fishing a few different methods, Jon Busey fishing shallow having a couple but not much happening for most.
Last hour and few started to come short and try their edge lines but still seem fruitless.
Well done to all the framers and Sys taking the overall win.
